Mission

Our mission is to empower and uplift the lives of underprivileged children, providing them with the necessary resources, care, and opportunities to thrive. Through the generous donation of clothing, we not only support our cause but also contribute to recycling and helping the environment. As an association committed to making a lasting impact, we work tirelessly to ensure that no child is left behind.

Our programs

Our textile recycling programs prevent millions of pounds of reusable materials from ending up in our nation’s landfills each year. This not only benefits the environment but also contributes to our programs. Every recycled piece donated to us is utilized to fuel these initiatives:

Church Programs

New Beginning Recycle supports churches, fire departments, teams, civic organizations, and groups in achieving their recycling and diversion objectives.

School Programs

We collaborate with educational institutions, from K-12 schools to colleges and universities, working alongside their campus communities to drive their recycling and waste diversion goals.

Partnerships

Our objective is to establish enduring community partnerships that bring sustained benefits to all participating organizations in the long run.

Fundraisers

Offering the community a convenient avenue for textile recycling, simultaneously educating students about sustainability and enabling them to make a positive impact on our environment.

What we do?

New Beginnings Recycle is an organization helping children and elderly in need. Working with churches and community organizations we provide food, clothing, school supplies, hygiene products, books, preschool resource bags and holiday gifts. Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭35‬-‭36
We collect gently used clothing to generate resources and aid others. By collecting clothing in good condition, we can make a positive impact and help those in need. Your donations allow us to support our mission and provide assistance to individuals and communities facing challenges.
We are dedicated to feeding, clothing, and providing for families in Venezuela. The following items cannot be accepted: Carpets, Rugs, Mattresses, Oil Rags, Wet or Items with Signs of Mold or Mildew.

Product Category Definitions

The following listing is not all-inclusive and is intended to provide clarification of the types of product collected assigned to the stated categories for accounting purposes.


Clothing:

  • Clothing General Description: Categories include clothing, shoes, accessories, and bed & bath items.
  • Clothing: Men’s, Women’s, Children’s
  • Clothing Accessories: Hats, Mitts, Scarves, Ties, Nylons, Socks, Underwear
  • Personal Accessories: Purses, Wallets, Fanny Packs, Bags, Belts, Back Packs
  • Bed and Bath: Towels, Sheets, Blankets, Pillows, Curtains, Tablecloths
  • Shoes: All types

Where Do the Items Go?

Currently 85% of these items go to our landfills. We are a recycling company with the primary goal of keeping these items out of our landfills. Below is a general outline of how we handle diverted secondary materials & recycled textile items.


45% of diverted secondary materials and recycled textiles are distributed in the US & globally based on the needs of groups, organizations and agencies.


30% become wiping and polishing cloths used in commercial and industrial settings.


20% is reprocessed into fibers for furniture stuffing, upholstery, insulation, sound proofing, carpet padding, building and other materials.


5% is unusable and not fit for recycling

Product items that will not be accepted

Weapons and explosives, hazardous waste, construction materials, flammable products, large appliances, automobile parts, food, mattresses, box springs, large console televisions. Please refer to the “DO NOT ACCEPT LIST”


This List may be changed and/or modified as needed to accommodate business needs and trends. Recycle Local LLC reserves the right to refuse items listed above which do not meet reasonable conditions.
